In reviewing world vehicle production for 2015, Mexico has reached seventh place in the country rankings. Mexico has also become the largest vehicle producer in Latin America. The worldwide rankings are as follows: 1. China, 2. United States, 3. Japan, 4. Germany, 5. Korea, 6. India, 7. Mexico, 8. Spain, 9. Brazil and 10. Canada. Mexico’s share of overall worldwide production stood at 3.9%. It is foreseeable that Mexico will not only maintain its position but, may potentially improve its ranking and the amount of automotive investment it receives in the coming years.
