These presentations contain valuable content that provide information on the status of implementation of the electricity reform, the lessons from the first long-term auction, clean energy incentives, the Energy Transition Law and cross-border electricity integration, among other subjects.
Attendees’ comments after the event were very positive, specifically as to the quality of the discussions and the opportunity to participate in an intimate dialogue with experts.
As one of the organizers, CCN is thankful for the generous support in promoting the event provided by the AEM Bi-National Energy Committee (http://www.aem-energy.org) and by the consulting and government relations firm Zumma rg+c (http://www.zumma.com.mx). The prestigious energy sector analyst George Baker (Mexico Energy Intelligence, www.energia.com) hosted the welcome dinner for the presenters.
CCN will continue to contribute to the organization of events that foster honest, thoughtful and high level discussions on the challenges and opportunities deriving from the Mexican electricity reform and, of course, in building bridges between Mexico and the United States. Please stay tuned for future announcements.
