The Italian tire maker Pirelli enjoys a strong reputation earned largely through automotive sports. Now, with an investment of $200 million dollars already in progress in Mexico, it has announced that an additional $200 million dollars will be applied through 2017 in order to improve the capacity of its Mexican plant. The additional investment will be $50 million dollars per year and, according to Guiliano Menasi, the Vice President of Operations of Pirelli, the company will initiate a new manufacturing project to make premium tires that are environment friendly.
